Museum MUMA in Utrecht has been exhibiting the rich history and culture of the Moluccan community since 1990, showcasing a diverse range of exhibitions that explore the Moluccans experiences in the Netherlands and the Moluccas. Sadly, the museum had to close its doors at the end of 2012. This book focuses on the history of MUMA and presents a unique narrative of the Maluku heritage and their journey to the Netherlands. It also sheds light on a significant event during the Moluccans stay in the Netherlands, the 1977 train hijacking near De Punt, which is depicted through a series of powerful illustrations.
